Visit of ISA Secretary General Mr. Paul Landefeld (Aug 8th,2004)

ISA Secretary General Mr. Paul Landefeld is invited by TSA to attend The 2 nd ASA Conference in Taiwan (Aug 12th ~ 16th, Taipei).

(1) TSA Committee entertained Mr. Landefeld at a welcome feast on the 8th of August and reported the following matters:
a.TSA has already received the participating fee and the profile of teachers and students from the United States, Australia , Japan, Philippine, Singapore , Taiwan, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
b.Up to the current moment, TSA hasn't received the participating fee and the profile of teachers and students from Korea.
c.The content of KSA President Mr. Kyung-Ik Hwang and KSA Secretary General Mr. Cheol-Woong Jeong's extra requests from TSA in participating 2004 ASA Conference, including afford part of related cost and different treatments from other the rest of participating countries., etc.
dKorea against teacher trainers and teachers from Japan TERI and the United States of the Americas SAA to instruct or perform in the conference.
e.Korea required the number of Korean performers and the all performers will directly appoint by Korea without audition.

(2) ASA Conference Coordinator Ms. Mary Ko and Vice Concert Coordinator Mr. Yoshihiko Terada reported Mr. Landefeld the conversion of a call received from Mr. Cheol-Woong Jeong in the afternoon of August 8th to add requests. Mr. Jeong emphasised that if TSA could not accept those requires, Korea will reconsider the schedule of attending 2004 ASA Conference. ASA Committee earnestly informed Mr. Landefeld the uncertain situation and the necessary to prepare for any possible situations.
