Message From U.S.A.

¡@I wish to congratulate the Asia Suzuki Association for the outstanding Second Asia Suzuki Conference which was held Aug 12~Aug 16 in Taipei , Taiwan . I especially want to recognize Ms.Mary Ko and Mr.Ai-Lin Chang for their outstanding leadership in organizing and carrying out this most successful Conference.

¡@The highlight of this event for me were many. The high performance standards achieved by all of the students participants were a conference high point . Also the large number of students who attended and their exciting enthusiasm. This of course would not have occurred without the fine effort of the dedicated teachers and the strong support of the parents involved .

¡@Event such as this will lead to the increased success of the Suzuki program ,not only in Taiwan , but in all of the other countries who are members of the Asia Suzuki Association.

¡@As a visiting Pianist and Piano Teacher I could not help but be extremely impressed with the growth and excellence of the piano program. This is of course due to the outstanding work of the many young teachers involved. I was very happy and proud of their accomplishments with their very young students.

¡@I look forward to hearing there students again in the future and having the opportunity of the working with them again.

Message From Japan

To The Taiwan Suzuki Association
and The Executive Committee Members
for the Second ASA Conference

¡@ Congratulations on the success of the 2nd ASA Conference in Taiwan.
¡@Although my involvement was limited, I was happy to be able to take part in the conference and work together with you all as a committee member. All of my students from Japan who participated in the conference said the trip was so enjoyable that they wished they could stay longer, and hope to participate in a conference again.
¡@Thanks to you all for the meaningful and joyful time my students had. We are indebted to your days-and-nights hard work.

¡@It has been over ten years since the TSA was authorized and established, and the TSA has gained recognition domestically as well as overseas. In retrospect to its process, it was a bumpy¡Adifficult road. Now the TSA is an organization that operates in a fair, healthy manner supported by its faculty a nd volunteer members, so the time when the association was small and like a family-business, and concerts and other activities were operated by calling upon people through personal connections became history.

¡@It will take time for all of your endeavors to become visible, but having myself experienced supporting the Japan TERI's Grand Concert that has 50 years' history, I can assure you that your efforts will be rewarded.

¡@The TSA is located at the core of the Asia Suzuki Associations, and the success of the 2nd ASA Conference is very significant. All concerned with the Suzuki Methods throughout the world will find it a splendid achievement and will be confident in your promising future. I sincerely wish your association further success.

Sincerely,
Japan TERI Cello Instructor
Yoshihiko Terada

Taiwan Suzuki Association President
Ms. Mary Ko

Once again, I would like to express my sincere thanks and congratulation to you and Taiwan Suzuki Association on the success of The 2nd Asia Suzuki conference in Taiwan.

¡@¡@ I understand from my experience and observation of the many conferences in the past 30 years, that how hard it is to organize this kind of event, expecially the first time for the yound association like TSA. Also despite of many difficulties, it was a very special opportunity for the TSA, that everybody worked together tirelessly, contributing themselves for the benefit of the children. It was a strong teamwork of the organizing committee, teachers and parents. Many young teachers and stage staff worked very hard on the stage in the each concert. We must not forget that many people who did not work under the spot lights but worked hard out side in the heat and rain all day during the conference servicing for people and looking after the faculties.

¡@¡@ The Conference gave a wonderful Opportunity not only for the participants to have a memorable time, but also for the TSA to have a strong relationship among them. After all, the TSA had learned a lot and have a confidence for the further development.

¡@¡@ Together with all oversea visitors, we would like to thank you again for giving us such a wonderful time.
¡@¡@

¡@¡@ 2004, August 23
¡@¡@ Yours faithfully in Suzuki

Message From Phillipine
¡@Greetings from the Philippines! I congratulate the officers and the members of Taiwan Suzuki Association for once again organizing this GRAND CONCERT. I am sure that it will be just as successful as the 2nd Asia Suzuki Conference held in Taiwan last August.

¡@ Dr. Shinichi Suzuki once said, "If love is deep, much can be accomplished." This GRAND CONCERT is a genuine proof of this LOVE- the love of the teacher for his/her students, the love of teaching them and the love for the music he/she is teaching them ,as well as the love the parents have for their children in giving them all the opportunity to learn music the Suzuki way, for their involvement in their lessons and practice and their support of this undertaking.

¡@I urge you all to continue with this spirit of love in your endeavors. Peace and goodwill be yours always !

¡@ All my best wishes,

PROF. CARMENCITA G.ARAMBULO
President, Philippine Suzuki Association
Secretary, Asia Suzuki Association
